Compare and Contrast
I could look at a particular age group of children and compare and contrast their lives. This could be there values, education, lifestyle, hobbies and family life.
It would be interesting to see how children from different sides of the world tackle their day to day life.
Pictures, interviews and questionnaires could help show this. There could be an option on the site for anyone of any age group can put their experiences and thoughts forward. The questions would be things that could promote topics of discussions, for instance, what does it mean to be poor? What does family mean to you?
Then a weekly topic could be put forward for a discussion among members or visitors to the site. For example, do western children have it too easy? Just because they are poor, does this mean they are not happy?

I already have some volunteers to take part in this in the UK their age ranges are from 7 to 22. So I can take their information with me and compare to the children in Nepal, I can also send any additional questions over to them while I am out there; the children could also send me questions.
In a way it is like a pen pal system that would operate through my site, but the information talked could help support discussions of interest.
