Volunteer Work / Working Abroad
I could design and develop a site where people can show how and what they have been up to while travelling or taking part in volunteer work. It would be split into 3 sections, travel, volunteer work, how can I get involved.
People able to contribute bogs, photos, audio diaries, well anything really that showed how and what they did over their experience. People could then comment on the people’s contributions and maybe think about how they themselves could take part in certain activities, then they would contribute their experiences when they returned.
Each week while I am looking through people’s blogs experiences photos and so on I will flare up a topic of debate, for example. Should charity start at home? Slave labour; is this not the same as volunteering? Travel is bad for the environment does that outweigh the need for travelling?

that's what I would do to get a good discussion 
The spring board for this would be my photos, blog from my time spent in Nepal. My initial audience could be the other 15 volunteers that spend time with me in Nepal, and I could actually record some in interviews with them both while there and when I return. There is also a plan for more people to visit Nepal when I return so I could ask then to participate with my site while there or when they return.
